150.000 kgs, that’s the weight of the Haco HDSY 701400 pressbrake shipped to
the Masaara Shipyard, Cairo Egypt.
The Arab Contractors is one of the biggest engineering companies in the world, with
headquarter in Cairo and subsidiary companies in more than 25 countries. They are the
biggest contractor for civil engineering projects in the Middle East.
They operate already a Haco HDSY60700, HDSY 50500, PS 6020 and one Mubea VP1000
in their Central Workshop in Cairo.
For their Masaara Shipyard, they purchased a Haco pressbrake featuring 7m bending length
and 14.000 kN capacity, controlled by a 2D graphical control FastBEND 2D.
The machine is further equipped with a Heavy Duty 6 Axis Backgauge X1/X2/R1/R2/Z1/Z2, a hydraulically driven CNC Anti Deflection Table, 2 Heavy Duty Plate Supports and Hydraulic Upper Tool Clamping.
The machine will be operated to bend M.S. plate material up to 20mm thickness, using a set of Single-V dies and GooseNeck top tooling.
